Modernist lamp

A modernist lamp described as "luminous architecture" with a nickel-plated metal structure in which thick glass blocks are embedded.
Stamped "Desny Paris", "Made in France" and "Déposé"
Paris, circa 1927-1929.

Width: 21.5 cm; depth: 19 cm; height: 18 cm

History: an identical lamp was acquired by the Maharajah of Indore for his studio on rue Saint-James in Neuilly.
