20th century decorative arts,
photographs and antique canes

Since its opening 20 years ago the Patrick Gutknecht Gallery dedicates itself to the re-discovery of furniture, lamps or art objects created by important 20th century designers as well as photographs and decorative and system canes dating from the 16th century to the 1930s. The gallery also exhibits selected contemporary creations shown in dialog with original signed and numbered photographs in limited edition. Every year the gallery organizes exhibitions on a specific theme or dedicated to an artist and participates to prestigious art and design fairs such as artgenève. Patrick Gutknecht is especially passioned by the creations of the art deco period and the 1940’ and he defends the works of the great creators of these decades such as Jacques Adnet, Desny, Jean Dunand, Marc du Plantier, Jean-Michel Frank, or Alberto and Diego Giacometti.
