Folk art cane in boxwood

Boxwood cane sculpted with an ivy, two snakes, two slugs, two snails, a lizard and a mole. Two figures in cassock, one bearded and the other with a horned head, are depicted head to tail. The pommel represents a pope wearing the two keys of Saint Peter's suspended from his neck and on whose habit is written "Poor Belizaire, you are Pius? Yes, it's your fault, my old friend". French work (signed "B. GLong Fecit"), dated 1860.
