Lalique Snake Cane

Silver cane with a snake-shaped pommel. The pommel is stamped Lalique and over-inscribed with the hallmarks of the 2nd artel and the Kokoschnik of Moscow (Fabergé, 1908-1917), shaft in solid rosewood.
Unique piece and the only known example of collaboration between René Lalique and Karl Fabergé.

Dimensions: Height: 89 cm; length: 9 cm.

Provenance: former collection of Arturo Lopez Willshaw, former collection of Alexis von Rosenberg, better known as Baron Alexis de Rédé (comes from his estate)
